Do You Accept Insurance?
No. Insurance does not typically cover natural, holistic, and Naturopathic services. We work for YOU. If we accepted insurance payments, we’d be forced to work for the insurance company first and you second. In our office, the client comes first! Since we are NOT a “medical” office we do not provide diagnosis codes for reimbursement. The money you spend on a holistic practitioner’s services can be thought of as your real health insurance.
Are You A Medical Doctor?
Marie Pace is a Doctor of Naturopathic Ministries and Holistic Health Practitioner, NOT a medical doctor. We offer Traditional Naturopathic services that many times can unearth causes that “standard” medicine has overlooked. An ethical traditional Naturopath would work in conjunction with you and your medical doctor to help you truly achieve good health. Marie is also trained as a Certified Nutritional Counselor and Starch Solution Graduate through Dr. McDougall’s Medical Center.

As a first step, our Office Manager (Melissa Seaux) will talk with you and answer any non-health questions you might have about our services and get you scheduled.
The initial consult (costs: $85 – $190+ depending on time) entails getting to know and understand you and what you need to repair your health. We may take up to an hour or longer, depending on your individual needs, asking you questions, listening to you and what you need and want. You and I will go over all of your options: what testing could be used to get to the root cause of biological imbalances, what lifestyle changes might be necessary, and what supplements or natural hormones are needed to repair or replace, etc. We will uncover unhealthy habits or past spiritual trauma that needs to be addressed. This will be both a discovery consult as well as a counseling session.

& Naturopathic Physicians?

A Traditional Naturopath is trained via a private alternative college. A Naturopathic Physician (not a licensed medical doctor) completes a 4-year residency in a “naturopathic college”. Both are trained to help you achieve health in the most natural way possible. In our office we offer you traditional naturopathic ministerial services. It is our strong belief that no group of healing practitioners (naturopathic, medical, holistic, etc. ) should encroach on the other and that all “healing” practitioners should complement, coordinate, and respect each other.

As a consultant, author, ordained minister, radio host and researcher, Marie has educated others on natural health solutions since 1999. Having written 3 books and over 500 articles on the subject of health, Marie has developed protocols and guidelines that have helped thousands of her clients.
Board certified as a Holistic Health Practitioner & Certified Nutritional Counselor and graduate of Trinity School of Natural Health as a Doctor of Naturopathic Ministries, Dr. Marie is well equipped to help you unravel your health mysteries and get to the true CAUSE of hormone imbalances (Thyroid & Adrenal), anxiety, insomnia, aches and pains, fatigue and gut issues, just to name a few.

"What I KNOW is that if it were not for Dr. Marie Pace and her ordained gift of knowledge of the intricacies of the human body I would likely not be here today or would be in a very vegetative state. When I first went to her my body was barely functioning. I had shortness of breath and severe heart palpitations, with several instances of passing out. "I have been to many traditional medical doctors with my son. We have even travelled out of state to try to find answers. He has been given so many diagnoses over the past years. Some of the main things he suffered with were verbal and movement tics, sound sensitivities and behavioral issues for many years and was even diagnosed as having Tourette's by one doctor at one point. I was told many times that this was just the way he was going to be. Finally, he was diagnosed with PANS -pediatric autoimmune neuropsychiatric syndrome, a controversial but very real diagnosis. Dear Dr. Pace: "As a licensed psychologist (Ph.D), I have worked with people who did not respond to counseling intervention. While I am not qualified to provide diagnosis/treatment in this area, your articles have provided me with enough information so that I can: 1. Recognize when body chemistry imbalance appears to be a contributing factor, and 2. Make the appropriate referral for the person to get the needed nutritional corrections.

His supervisor did not make him take the periodic lifeguard swimming re-certification test due to his apparent “good health”. The person said he would not have been able to pass the endurance portion of the test (and would have lost his job). He could not get married because he didn’t have the energy to complete college. His life was at a standstill. All he could do was sleep and rest. I referred him to a N.D. who did a comprehensive evaluation, tested for low-grade allergies (which he had), and prescribed needed nutritionals. After a period of recovery, he completed college, got married and is now holds a teaching position. He made a special trip to my office to thank me for helping to “save” his life. "After receiving my blood work with elevated liver enzymes 16 years ago, my insurance agent couldn’t get me the standard rate for life insurance, so I had to pay more. When I needed additional life
insurance over the years for the business, my blood work continue to indicate elevated liver enzymes, so to settle my concerns of my liver, I did a liver biopsy. The biopsy indicated I had nonalcoholic fatty liver disease. The MD indicated that I should try to lose weight, but I might just have high liver enzymes. Replacing an insurance policy this year, more blood work was done. One of my liver enzymes was at its highest level ever, and was turned down by the insurance company. The insurance agent said that I needed to get my liver enzymes to normal levels to get life insurance. I’ve always known my liver enzymes to be elevated and like the MD said I might just have high liver enzymes, so to get them to normal levels was going to be a challenge if not impossible!
